In among Celtic’s dominant display against Hearts there was one special moment of skill that stood out.

Leading 1-0 and approaching half-time the Celtic striker finished the tie with a flick of his heel that took out Zander Clark and the Hearts defence as the ball hit the back of the net.

What wasn’t so apparent from the standard TV coverage was the quality of the pass from Alistair Johnston.

It was a first appearance at Tynecastle for the full-back, striking the ball low and hard Kyogo ‘only’ had to redirect the ball to put Celtic 2-0 in front. He did that with style.

Billed as a cruch tie the match at Tynecastle was supposed to be the toughest test that Celtic could face outside of Glasgow.

Ange Postecoglou made five changes to the side that won in midweek, the A team were back with Robbie Neilson unable to come up with an excuse for his fourth defeat of the season to Celtic.
