Daizen Maeda seems to in intensive training even though he was unfit for Japan’s 1-1 draw with Uruguay on Friday.
The Celtic winger is a key striker under Hajime Moriyasu, being consistently selected ahead of Kyogo Furuhashi.
It can be difficult to interpret the news coming out of Japan but Celtic fan Yatao is able to dig under Google Translate to work out what is going on.
I got the latest info about Daizen Maeda. He still couldn’t join team’s training and carried out another menu, so it’s unclear whether can play in the game on 28th. Moriyasu has been calling up players without considering injuries and condition, but I really want him to stop it. pic.twitter.com/PMlgd79aIc

Working out on a cycling machine would suggest that Japan believe that there is a chance that Maeda will be available for Tuesday’s match against Colombia.
With an 11.20am kick off Maeda should be back in Glasgow at some stage on Wednesday giving the Celtic medical team the chance to assess him ahead of a crucial month of fixtures starting at Ross County on Sunday April 2.
The 25-year-old was injured during Celtic’s SPFL win over Hearts on March 8, missed the Scottish Cup tie at Tynecastle three days later then started in the 3-1 win over Hibs on March 18.
This is not the only time he didn’t consider players at all, so I’m disappointed. He’ll continue to call up his favorite players under any circumstances. In the same way, he forcibly call up Tomiyasu, so his injury got worse. I want Daizen to return to our team safely.

Definitely. I really hope so too.

Absolutely. But Moriyasu always does it. I really don’t understand.
