Graham Spiers has decided to share his thoughts on Saturday’s O** F*** in the time served manner of bundling both clubs together.
Rather than address issues on an individual basis it seems far more convenient to package it off in the time served fashion and tut-tut about both sides.
Over the course of the last month one club has:
Had a coach head-butt an opponent
Had three players sent off in a Lowland League Derby
Had their manager and captain come out and lie about an alleged handball in a goal lost.
Had an official media partner boasting in a broadcast using an actionable term against Kevin Clancy
Had their supporters involved in Police Scotland action for threatening and abusive content.
That club isn’t Celtic but that isn’t very convenient.
If Spiers wants to look back to a year ago he will find a massive glass bottle collection from Ibrox, Celtic players being hit by missiles after a match at Ibrox, a Celtic physio being disfigured by a glass bottle thrown by a corporate fan from Ibrox who was jailed.
In January Police Scotland discovered a baseball bat and other weapons being stored by the Union Bears before a match with Celtic.
Last April glass appeared in the goal-mouth to be defended by Joe Hart while the Ibrox ground-staff repaired that area of the pitch, no Police Officers or stewards noticed the glass being thrown on the pitch. CCTV apparently wasn’t working.
If there are equivalent actions involving Celtic fans and players this website will be happy to publish them.

BTW, Clancy missed two Red Cards for The Rangers players, if the members of the SFWA added that balance to the correct ruling off of Morelos attempt at goal, maybe things would have be better.
