Around 8pm tonight Sky Sports were informed of an official request for an explanation over Alfredo Morelos’ disallowed goal at Celtic Park.
It seemed a straightforward call, given instantly by Kevin Clancy and backed up Nick Walsh on VAR. Morelos and Johnston were jostling for the space as a corner came in, as it reached the six yard area both hands went into back of Johnston.
By releasing the news to Sky Sports the post match agenda is being set without any official comment from Ibrox.
? Sky Sports News understands Rangers will write to the SFA for an explanation over why Alfredo Morelos’ first-half goal at Celtic Park was disallowed.
What did you make of the decision? ??

After the match James Tavernier and Micky Beale both claimed that Jota had handled the ball in the build up to Celtic’s second goal, after reviewing that it seems that that complaint has been dropped.
It is unlikely that the SFA will be in any rush to answer any complaint, on Thursday they will deal with a Notice of Complaint against Craig McPherson for attacking Fran Alonso at the SWPL Glasgow Derby.
Here’s what I say ..
We do them again at Hampden .
We do them again at the Sharedome .
Then we watch the whole lot go BOOM .
It’s embarrassing having imbeciles like Boyd commenting on football matches.
That mob been conditioned for the last 6 months into thinking that VAR was brought in to help them win the league. They can’t accept a decision going against them.
By the way – it was a foul.
Both players at it: thought Morelos’ goal should have stood.
…which makes it even sweeter it was chopped off!
sevco shouldn’t worry though: mistakes are evened up over the season.
Or not. 🙂
And I don’t believe sevco will write to the SFA.
Who’s going to buy the stamp?
KENNY Macintyre will call in a favour and get Crawford Allen on radio shortbread to clear it all up.
