As Celtic prepare to overtake the combined trophy haul of both Ibrox clubs some desperate measures are being openly discussed.

Of course everyone outside of Ibrox laughs at the notion that Real Madrid’s 14 European Cups are of equal value to the Scottish League Cups won by ineligible players under Dick Advocaat and Walter Smith.

When their club died in 2012 Rangers fans had to find something to feed their misguided supremacist mindset, naturally the Tribute Act bought into that by ignoring Egyptian giants Al Ahly as they counted three domestic trophies and the 1972 European Cup Losers Cup to provide some reassurance.

The Tribute Act has only been able to add two trophies to that tally in the last 11 years so some creativity is required.

In 2013 there was the League Three title, with reorganisation the following year Ally McCoist drove his side to the League One title while managing to lose a Scottish Cup semi-final that the SFA decided to stage at Ibrox.

Mark Warburton delivered two trophies in 2016, strangely 2015 was a complete blank, the future England boss celebrated winning the Championship and Petrofac Cup but there was Sunshine on Leith when the Scottish Cup was contested by two lower division outfits.

While the bears move the goalposts whoever is in place at Ibrox is in for a rough time when Celtic exceed their combined total, over the last month Douglas Park, Ross Wilson and Stewart Robertson have all got out of the firing line.

“We have nothing to be ashamed of”

The lack of self-awareness from these cretins is utterly astounding. As long as you follow an Ayebrokes klub then you should all be ashamed to breathe ya shower of wanks!

Now, that’d be why they had five stars above their crest earlier on and it was ditched.
One of those stars would have been the irn-bru cup!
