Micky Beale has revealed that Connor Goldson will miss Saturday’s match at home to St Mirren.
The former Shrewsbury was a late call of from Saturday’ Glasgow Derby resulting in John Souttar being called in for what turned out to be a disastrous performance.
Other than a six week long lay off before the World Cup break Goldson has barely missed a minute of action since moving to Ibrox in the summer of 2018.
There has been very little detail about the injury but before losing to Celtic on Saturday BBC Scotland reported that he had a hip issue.

Connor won’t play at the weekend, he’ll be more likely to play at Aberdeen (April 23) or the semi-final at the end of the monf.
Beale is looking forward to facing St Mirren for the first time, noting that the Paisley side are free points off fird in the SPFL table.
You notice when they report a Celtic player is out for a couple of weeks it’s always a blow
But when it’s one of them it’s always a boost
Connor knew that micky was a cheapo with (cone skills) nothing to stop Celtic, he has decided to park his own bus until next season, their own players will start to look at micky in a different way and hampden will be another broken year that the new fans will not like.
