There was virtually no positive reaction from Celtic fans after the SPFL announced their post-split fixtures late this morning.
News had gradually leaked out that the first match would be at Tynecastle but the Sunday scheduling followed by a trip to Ibrox massively limits the number of Celtic fans that will be able to watch the title clincher live.
It seems that a broadcasting contract that only allows Sky Sports to show one more Celtic home match has dominated the fixture scheduling with Sky rolling into Celtic Park on May 27 to broadcast the presentation the priority.
A home match on May 6 would have seemed ideal followed by three away matches but it looks like the interests of supporters has been bottom of the pile.
Celtic’s official tweet mentioned the first two matches being away from home, beyond that there was no comment from the club.

Win against Hearts and have a big crowd waiting for the Champions team bus to return to Celtic Park on Sunday about 6pm. Bank Holiday on the Monday anyway.

Thinking of fans or the money ?
Disgrace they can’t accommodate 60000 fans having the chance to watch their team win the league at home.— Wee Drew (@Dr3w1888) April 25, 2023
There are 60000 fans that won’t see the team win the league on their home ground a total shambles from the SFA/ Sky
