Over the last six weeks Ellie Dixon has been introduced to seven decades of Celtic history.

A throw-away feature on BBC 5 Live with Patrick Kielty had some unexpected consequences which led to a hospitality suite at Celtic Park yesterday afternoon.

Singing about a Superstar from Lisbon went viral to such an extent that she found herself featured on Sky Sports and sharing a studio with Big Bemz and the main himself, Jota.

The former Benfica winger provided the telling contribution in yesterday’s Glasgow Derby which went down well in the various hospitality lounges where Tommy Callaghan is one of the special hosts, sharing memories and tales from another golden era of success for the club.

Jock Stein signed the midfielder from Dunfermline in 1968, over the next eight years he played with some of the biggest names in Celtic’s history from the Lisbon Lions and Quality Street kids through to emerging talents like Roy Aitken and Tommy Burns.
