Aaron Mooy replaces Tomoki Iwata from the Celtic side that beat Ross County for today’s Glasgow Derby, effectively Matt O’Riley for Reo Hatate is the change from the recognised First XI.

Ange Postecoglou has had two weeks to prepare for the loss of Hatate but his opposite number, Micky Beale appears to have been hit by a late blow with Connor Goldson missing from his defence.

That means that John Souttar will start just his second game of the season, the first was in July at Livingston with the former Hearts defender getting a couple of late appearances off the bench in recent weeks.

Greg Taylor has recovered from the dead-leg he suffered last week at Ross County with Cameron Carter-Vickers in central defence despite missing training on Friday.

A home win would put Celtic 12 points in front with seven matches left to play in the SPFL Premiership.

Kevin Clancy will referee today’s match, Celtic have lost all three Glasgow Derbies that he has been in charge of, Nick Walsh is on VAR duty.
