Fabrizio Romano has highlighted interest from England and Germany in Matt O’Riley.
His tweet does mention that the midfielder is understood to be happy at Celtic but the Italian transfer expert tends to tweet for a reason.
Over the last two years Romano has been fairly close to transfer activity at Celtic, highlighting interest in Josip Juranovic last June with the defender joining Union Berlin after an impressive World Cup.

O’Riley is on a long term contract at Celtic but the length of a deal is mainly a means of security to ensure a market value transfer fee.
Signed from MK Dons in January 2022 O’Riley hit the ground running, playing a significant role in Celtic’s title success alongside fellow newcomer Reo Hatate.
Aaron Mooy has provided a significant challenge to O’Riley for a first team place but with age on his side the Danish u-21 star has time on his side with clubs from richer leagues already on his trail.
