We’re sick of these players, sick of the same stuff and sick of this happening- David Edgar’s Pittodrie backlash

David Edgar has resumed his Rev IM Jolly script of last autumn as he watched another big game collapse from his Ibrox heroes.

Six Champions League defeats took their toll on the popular Ibrox podcaster, when they were followed by dropped points to St Johnstone, Livingston and St Mirren it was soon time for Giovanni van Bronckhorst to pick up his pay off.

The Dutchman is gone but the same empty jerseys remain. Micky Beale delivers the media messages that the Gullible & Deluded like to hear while both fan media and mainstream hype up Nico Raskin and Todd Cantwell in the same manner as Malik Tillman was earlier in the season.

When reality returns Edgar can’t hold back on his frustration and anger, this time he didn’t have Kevin Clancy to blame as he fronted up to the loyal bears who hang on his every word.

Really dismal 2-0 defeat at Pittodrie in which we got to see, I was going to say the highlights of Rangers season but pretty much all of the lowlights, we had forwards that couldn’t finish, Alfredo and we have defenders that can’t keep clean sheets. Seven (goals lost) despite not having an awful lot to do.

And in the end Aberdeen wanted it more and in the end that is always the toughest thing for a supporter to take. It wasn’t that Aberdeen were better than us, they shouldn’t be but they were much more committed, they were chucking themselves into things, chucking themselves into being first for everything.

To be honest the summer can’t come quickly enough, I think the Rangers support in the main with a lot of these players we are just sick of them, we’re sick of the same stuff and we’re sick of this happening when it matters. That is why this team is not going to win a league title.

This team is not catching Celtic, we need changes, that squad needs an overhaul.
