The Daily Record has jumped on a quite from Luis Palma that he is looking for a move to the Premier League or Scotland.

With a significant transfer fee required by Greek club Aris there is virtually no chance of Palma joining Dujon Sterling and Kieran Dowell for pre-season training at Murray Park.

The Honduran winger is under contract until June 2026 with his club in no rush to raise funds after finishing fifth in the Greek Super League.

Mindful that Celtic are playing in the Scottish Cup Final on Saturday the Record is maintaining a constant feed of positive Ibrox transfer:

Speaking to Honduran outlet Diez, Palma was asked if he would be leaving his current side this summer. He responded: “1000 per cent.”

He was then quizzed on what leagues interest him for his next step, and the Premiership was given a knowing shout-out. Palma stated: “I like the the Premier League and Scotland.”

The forward also reckons he has improved dramatically as a player this term as he attempted a personal sales pitch to suitors: “Personally I have changed a lot as a person for the better. As a footballer I have changed a lot, thank God for giving me the opportunity to show what (talent) is in Honduras.”

Beale is trying to put together a financial package to entice Jack Butland to Ibrox while his board negotiate with Los Angeles FC to sign Jose Cifuentes on a knock-down fee.
