Yatao has picked up on the almost overlooked support role that Kyogo Furuhashi played before scoring Celtic’s first goal in the 2-2 draw with St Mirren.
Japanese Twitter user Yatao has been providing Celtic fans with informative and entertaining coverage of the club from afar with a special emphasis on the Japanese connections.
There wasn’t much entertainment served up to the fans on Saturday afternoon but there was a brilliant movement of class in the 14th minute to bring Celtic level.
Focus on the scene just before Kyogo scores a goal in yesterday’s game. Kyogo told Iwata to pass the ball to Reo with gesture. And this goal was born because Reo and Kyogo are always checking each other’s movements.pic.twitter.com/BiZ0Sn4Cuk

Kyogo seemed about the only player at his usual levels yesterday, taking his goals total for the season to 31 with 25 coming in the SPFL Premiership.
Starting 30 of the 36 SPFL matches and making four appearances off the bench the striker has shrugged aside the disappointment of missing out on a place at the World Cup Finals to be the driving force behind Celtic’s success.
