BBC Scotland are claiming that there is contact between Fenerbahce and Ibrox over Ryan Kent.

As anyone with the most basic of knowledge of football contracts will be aware, as a free agent Kent can move anywhere without a fee when his current deal expires at the end of this month.

BBC Scotland is notorious for sugar coating all issues from Ibrox but it is getting to the ridiculous stage when they are clearly inventing FACTS!

Down the years BBC Scotland have been all over every Alfredo Morelos transfer tale without adding any context, like Kent the striker is about to walk away from Ibrox without a single Dembele Dollar being paid.

Filip Helander, Steve Davis and Scott Arfield are other big earners about to quit the club having made very little contribution to the current season.

BBC Scotland claim:

Fenerbahce have been in contact with Rangers about winger Ryan Kent and discussions have taken place with the 26-year-old.

There is absolutely no need for Fenerbahce to contact Kent’s current club, at no stage in the article is there any suggestion that an agreement has to be reached.

At the end of this month Kent is free to sign for whoever he can agree a contract with, it could be Fenerbahce, Fulham or Forfar but not a penny will be going into Micky Beale’s transfer warchest.

  • Bob (original) says:

Kent doing walking away for hee-haw must be a sore one for sevco?

IF it was really £7M they paid for him, then it is a shocker that he is now leaving for free,

and when he is STILL only 26 years old, [same age as Fat Boy].

It shows that there are deep seated issues within the Ibrox footballing operations

for that scenario to be allowed to happen.
