Chris Sutton has destroyed Kenny Miller’s pathetic claim that Micky Beale has gone toe-to-toe with Ange Postecoglou.
Winning a dead-rubber has given most Ibrox fans belief that the previous three defeats from Celtic under Beale were meaningless.
Back in November when he replaced Giovanni van Bronckhorst the former QPR boss inherited a nine point gap in the SPFL, a semi-final place in the Viaplay Cup and the blank canvas of the Scottish Cup.
Celtic ended Beale’s hopes in both cup competitions then won the title with a 13 point lead and four matches to go.
With the meaningful matches over the Ibrox side have found form which was all that Miller needed to dig out his calculator and proclaim that Beale was Scotland’s top boss based on SPFL results since he took over from van Bronckhorst.
Toe to toe= drew league game that really mattered at home, lost League Cup final, lost Scottish Cup semi final, lost league game that really really mattered … won meaningless dead rubber… everyone’s toe to toe is different in fairness to Kenny?? https://t.co/HD8veWYlJH

Interestingly Sutton chose to reply to a story in the Daily Record where he has a weekly column.
Maybe he means the Can-Can when he says Toe-to-Toe!
