Keith Jackson and Micky Beale will never be the best of buddies but this morning both are waking up with the pain of another Celtic defeat swirling round in their heads.

On Wednesday the star man at the Daily Record revealed that Chris Willock was Ibrox bound from QPR- at his Friday media conference Beale completely trashed the story, no doubt goaded on by his fan media advisors.

Almost always in these cases the reporter will outlast the manager handing out the slapping.

Sunday at Hampden was Jackson’s chance of consolation, watching Celtic secure another victory will always be painful for the former Rangers Boys Club starlet but now there is at least something he can salvage from defeat.

The chance to return fire at Beale, to call out his shortcomings, to highlight the blot that is dominating his CV. He just can’t get the better of Lucky Ange.

In the Record today Jackson explains:

Once again Michael Beale will spend Monday morning picking through the bones of another derby defeat and rummaging around for the same old answers to the same old questions.

Why can’t his players be trusted to perform even the most basic of defensive duties the moment they catch a glimpse of a green and white shirt?

Where did Ryan Kent disappear to as soon as the first whistle went, why does Fashion Sakala have his feet on the wrong way around and what’s the point of Alfredo Morelos?

Beale’s media appearances this week are expected to be very limited, the pain of loyal bears this week isn’t going to get any easier as Ange’s weekend Coronation gets closer and closer.

In the Record’s Monday Morning Jury:

With Rangers set to finish the season trophyless, is the flak heading Michael Beale’s way fair?

Keith Jackson: That’s simply the price of the ticket. Beale was desperate to throw himself into the firing line so has to deal with the consequences of repeated failure in the biggest fixture of them all. He’ll have to end this run of derby defeats sharpish or it could crush him completely.

Will Micky Beale survive to Christmas at Ibrox?

Yeah, I fink so

Yeah, I fink so

Naw, I don't fink so

Naw, I don't fink so

The nearly so called winners klub,as said before I nearly won the lottery on Saturday I got 3 numbers out of the 6.
Sevco nearly won the treble this year, they got beat in the league cup final, they lost out to Celtic in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup and just missed out on the league by at least 13 points+.
Aye they nearly won the TREBLE,but hey not to worry as their players will telling us all later in the week, just wait till we play Celtic at ibrox in the next couple of weeks the real Rangers will show.
But they can’t as the real Rangers died.

Until the Rangers tribute act accept that their clumpany was liquidated back in 2012 ,it will be saddled with the overwhelming weight of denial and will continue to be second best ! It does not matter how many times the SMSM and it’s commentary minions look the other way as far as the Rangers being the original club is concerned ,that massive granite block will always be an immovable burden .

I wonder how many of the pied pipers gullible fans will flock to buy season tickets, all to pay back the loans to directors who may soon jump ship.

Look at them over the last few years, they are a fkn joke. They deserve every failure the get and are going to get.
I have a prediction, they will collapse like a fkn high rise flat in a fkn massive earthquake.
