A blue ticked Galatasaray fan has tried to rubbish the claim that Jose Cifuentes is in talks over joining the Micky Beale Revolution.
Tweets from Ecuador yesterday suggested that talks were underway to bring the Los Angeles FC midfielder to Ibrox with Scottish media sources quick to pick up on the claim.
The likelihood of a transfer strengthened when Fabrizio Romano tweeted this morning but for some reason a Galatasaray fan has decided to get in on the onine conversation. The Gala fan may have Celtic as his second team…
The rogue account had one other tweet about Cifuentes but beyond that all other recent tweets are related to Galatasaray.
Fake news. Fabrizio is lying, I’m happy in America. Rangers is small club https://t.co/rGmV9amhG6

Galatasaray are such a small club. Can only dream of having a fan base like Fenerbahce or Besiktas

I would have thought that the daily Record with its clout , reputation , extremely high readership and monetary resources at its disposal , would have their own man in LA for all the world ‘exclusives !’ I say ‘man’ because the rag does not employ one woman sports scoop . Has the Record ever employed a woman as a sports reporter ? If not , then that is a disgrace !
Why so surprised?
It’s over 30 years at least since they employed a ‘man’ as a Sports Reporter.
They’ve all been lap top loyal ‘Churnalists’ and Copy n’ Paste’ merchants.
They still haven’t got over the demise of the ‘succulent lamb’ years and are just prostituting their self respect and their careers
trying to make Sevco relevant in the hope that the ‘Golden Years’ will return.
Apart from the Murray years you would have to be over 70 to recall a period of ‘Ranjurs’ dominance and even that was based on cheating, stealing shared titles and claiming war time trophies ( don’t forget all the ‘real ranjurs men’ spent the war time years hiding in the Govan Shipyards where Catholics were persona non grata unless it was filling menial positions) and most of the other Scottish Clubs lost their players to the fighting forces. So much for their military traditions.
