The Ibrox Tribute Act are claiming that they have 1.7m fans in the UK and the same number again worldwide.

According to a job application for a Director of Commercial & Marketing on LinkedIn the World’s Most Successful Club can call on 3.4m fans worldwide with James Bisgrove’s successor expected to monetise that army of bears.

No evidence is put forward to back up that claim, just 777,600 fans have bothered to Follow Follow on Twitter. Identifying the missing 2,622,400 bears looks like being a major task for the new Commercial Director as well as picking up new crypto deals and additional shirt advertising.

At last season’s Europa League Final 20,000 fans were inside the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium in Seville with a further 20,000 watching a beam-back at the Estadio la Cartuja. Ibrox remained closed to the 1.7m fans in the UKL.

The Linkedin description claims:

Rangers Football Club, formed in 1872, is one of the world’s longest-established and most successful clubs, having won 55 League titles, 34 Scottish Cups, 27 League Cups and the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1972. This collection of titles and cups makes Rangers the most successful club in the world, and it is currently the 9th strongest football brand according to the YouGov UK Brand Index.

Playing at the 50,987 seat Ibrox Stadium and benefitting from the world-class 37-acre training facility, the Club has been a dominant force in Scottish football for decades. The Club benefits from a famously loyal support and the high volume of season tickets is the foundation of the top 19 best attendances in Europe. It is estimated that Rangers has a global fanbase of 3.4m, half of which reside in the UK.

Commercially, over the last four years, the club has gone from strength to strength. With a strong partnership portfolio, hospitality developments, the new Edmiston House venue and a global fan base, the club is in a great position to continue this growth.

The UK population was 67,000,000 at the last count meaning that 2.5% of the population are hanging onto the words of James Tavernier and Micky Beale.

If the new Commercial Director can get £10 a year from each of the 3.4m bears the club will have an extra £17m to spend every transfer window.

Turnover for the year to 30 June 2022 was £86.8m meaning that the club only raised an average of £25 per fan including Season Ticket holders who paid out close to £1,000 once friendly matches, cup ties and European matches are added.

They have the 50k fans that are robbed blind by ticket prices and the my huns scheme. That takes £50 for nothing

There was an article today linking sevco with a £13 million player but apparently they can’t afford him. Because Inter,Eintract and Bay Lev are also interested in the player,so the source of the story said sevco can’t compete with those clubs having more money, lol LUCKY clubs eh.

Imagine putting a story out there they are interested in a £13 million players when confetti money is being pumped into that klub on a monthly basis, while the best part of their board and others connected to that klub are jumping ship on a daily or weekly basis.

There must be due another announcement about someone leaving there again soon,it’s been about 3 days since the last announcement.

Global fanbase??!!! Kilwinning, Larkhall and bits of Northern Ireland. Not even New York, Paris, Peckham. Wonder when the statement to Companies House announcing Derek Trotter as their new Director of Fantasy and Delusion will appear.
