Cameron Carter-Vickers has been pictured on crutches at Glasgow Airport after undergoing surgery on his right knee.
The defender turned in a Man of the Match at Hampden last Sunday but straight after the match Ange Postecoglou announced that the former Spurs man wouldn’t play again this season.
A persistent knee injury has hampered Carter-Vickers since the turn of the year but that didn’t hold him back as he helped his side into the final of the Scottish Cup.

Yuki Kobayashi is expected to join Carl Starfelt in central defence tomorrow against Hearts with the Swede switching to the right hand side.
Since joining Celtic in August 2021 Carter-Vickers is unbeaten in 33 SPFL matches with his only domestic defeat coming after extra-time in last season’s Scottish Cup semi-final.
Postecoglou is confident that his first choice defender will be fit again for the start of next season.
