After a flawless performance from Alan Muir at Easter Road on Sunday the SPFL Penalty Differential Trophy looks certain to be on its way to Ibrox, bragging rights and all.
With just two rounds of fixtures left to play Micky Beale’s side are 10 up over the course of the season with their nearest rivals, Motherwell, on half that amount.
Ange Postecoglou has the prospect of a domestic treble on his mind but with seven penalties for and seven against so far it won’t require Kenny Miller’s calculator to illustrate that the hoops are out of contention for this award.
SPL penalty differential 2022-23:
Rangers = +10
Motherwell = +5
Hearts = +4
Dutd = +3
St Johnstone = 0
Celtic = 0
Livi = -1

John Beaton will be in charge of Wednesday’s game at Ibrox when Hearts are the visitors. In the first televised VAR match in October Lawrence Shankland scored with two penalties but a repeat is highly unlikely.
It is now 53 matches since a penalty was awarded against the Ibrox club in the SPFL, the following day Sky Sports obtained a leaked letter of complaint to the SFA with no referee or VAR official prepared to break rank.
The next big refereeing appointment will be for the Scottish Cup Final which has an open field with the SFA possibly looking to reward one of their younger officials with some big match experience.
Listen this ain’t worth a fck unless our spineless club open their mouth. Simple

So long as Lawwellball is raking in the millions our Board and Investors won’t care.
Operation 5 Way has been a mitigated success for those with a penchant for a cheeky Dividend.
Editor: Many would say it is a Six Way Agreement, a levelling up tool to make Scottish football artificially competitive around the cherished yet toxic O** F*** brand.
