Joe Hart didn’t have a save to make as Celtic crushed Aberdeen 5-0 ahead of lifting the SPFL Premiership trophy.

The hoops keeper wasn’t entirely redundant this afternoon, late on in the game he was required to remove a smoke canister from the pitch.

Typically Hart made the most of it, raising the canister into the air almost like a trophy before dumping it behind his goal-line.

All of the action occurred at the other end of the park where Dons keeper Kelle Roos was up against the odds.

Two goals in five minutes midway through the first half put today’s result beyond doubt as the hoops won their first match since clinching the title away to Hearts at Tynecastle.

Carl Starfelt increased Celtic’s lead in the 78th minute but there was still time for a late double from substitute Oh Hyeon-gyu to score twice to make it 5-0.

The only downside to the match was injuries to Kyogo and Alistair Johnston who both had to be substituted.

Let’s hope both players are good to go next week as we will need them.
