Two years after departing an empty stadium Scott Brown got the Celtic farewell that he deserved on Thursday night.
Alongside his vice-captain Mikael Lustig, the legendary Celtic skipper was given a heroes welcome and send off in front of thousands of fans.
Picking up 22 major honours is an incredible total, adding to the League Cup winners medal that he collected with Hibs puts Brown down among the greatest ever Scottish footballers.

An incredible attitude and will to win brought Brown success, alongside a variety of exceptional team-mates from a couple of great Celtic sides.
From Aiden McGeady, Shunsuke Nakamura, Victor Wanyama and Joe Ledley in the early years through to Tom Rogic, Ryan Christie and Callum McGregor from the treble days Brown stood tall among them all.
McGregor and Greg Taylor were up on stage with Brown and Lustig, over the next few weeks they’ll be hoping to lift more silverware just like Brown and Lustig.
