Trophyless Nico Raskin looks like rivalling Todd Cantwell as the Ibrox stars celebrate winning the Close Season Trophy.
The Belgian star finally got a win over Celtic at the fourth time of asking- after losing out to the hoops in the Viaplay Cup, SPFL and in the Scottish Cup.
Today’s victory will grow in significance over the coming weeks with a supportive media eager for a distraction from Celtic’s SPFL Presentation Day and the Scottish Cup Final on June 3.
While failing to wrestle a trophy from Celtic Raskin and Cantwell have quickly picked up on the local lingo by trash talking Ange Postecoglou’s squad by rewriting history.
After winning today’s dead rubber Raskin told his club TV station:
We are at home, we have to give this energy. We also get the energy from the fans. Everybody was ready from the beginning and the goal helped us to continue.
At the same time, I think the last game in the semi-final, especially the second half, we were already better than them. We just couldn’t score goals. Now we put the same performance and score goals. It is great.
Raskin will miss out on pre-season training at Ibrox to compete in the u-21 European Championships for Belgium.

I couldn’t agree more, but, Big Joe made an error for their 1st, parrying it into play instead of pushing it out for a corner and the skinny, lucky twat named Cantwell got lucky again as his shot squirmed between Big Joe’s legs. A typical Ibrox signing Cantwell, cheat, kick and dive. Matt O’Riley made 2 glaring errors, both of which should’ve been goals. 1st he tried to pass in the box when scoring was easier. 2nd he tried to flight the ball instead of a low, simple drive home. We lost it there, as 1st would’ve made it 1-1……….
Ach, as they say up North, whaegiesafukk? We’re CHAMPIONS.
Oh, BTW (not a pun) struggled as he had no support. Our ‘mid’ was poor and ditto wing-play. Yet on Oh’s effort on target they got lucky again as it was touched onto the post.
End of day? I’m sufferin’ a wee bit wi’ it, but there really was NOTHING at stake, unless you consider millions worldwide. Ange’ll have learned a good lesson today, probably set out to do that, at no material cost. IN ANGE WE TRUST. HH!

Screaming and laughing like banshees at their defence all season came back to bite us in the ARSE big time today,if sevco need £30 million for a rebuild just how much do we need after that (to quote Tony Fitzpatrick from yesteryear)we got a doing today.
The defending for that third goal was a absolute joke and it like the Chuckle brothers going for the same ball.

Our back 4 was weakened terribly with the loss of CCV and AJ.
Tony was always a stick-on RB but Bernabei (to me) was an odd choice when Taylor, a terrific, consistent performer was left out. Bernabei had a howler.
