What a weekend it has been for Daily Record readers.

Worries that Celtic may have recruited a top class manager at the same time as Micky Beale’s revolution has run out of funds have been eased for readers of the Glasgow based publisher.

One recently discovered feel good story that can get recycled at any moment is that the Ibrox giants are poised to pick up £25m from taking part in FIFA’s first World Club Cup which will be staged in the USA in 2025.

Qualification- in 2025- will be based on 2025 UEFA coefficient ratings based on the three previous seasons.

Following their freakishly good 21/22 run to the final of the Europa League Micky Beale’s side might qualify for a place in the FIFA event- if they can repeat their performances of 21/22 rather than last season when they became the worst club ever to play in the Champions League. The 21/22 co-efficient points won’t be included, unfortunately.

Without Allan McGregor, Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos and Scott Arfield Beale has his work cut out in his second season in management.

Despite those uncomfortable FACTS! The Record has more great news for their readers with coach Tom Culshaw expected to join the Revolution, £7m flop Abdallah Sima is on his way to Ibrox while Cameron Carter-Vickers, Kyogo and Reo Hatate have as good as walked out on Celtic.

Beale has four more days to add to his squad before pre-season training begins at Murray Park.

Absolutely vomit-inducing nonsense from that hun fanzine masquerading as a newspaper, as per feckin’ usual. They should have been banned like the BBC and PLZ…

    • Scouse bhoy says:

Why is neil lennon of all people allowing himself to be dragged into this first to 56 nonsense by this sevco rag.

Have you noticed the Record’s party piece of universe class scooping ? They always have their sports headlines as ‘set in stone ‘ guarantees , especially with a certain Glasgow clumpany , then when the typist of the spoof in question gets to about paragraph 2or 3 , it’s all might’s , maybe’s , could’s and if’s .Guesswork conjecture . It’s always been horse manure fantasy to keep its core readers on board ! Will someone please interview big Tony Haggarty the Celtic related blogger and ex Record journalist , who could tell us a few interesting stories about what really happens inside the rag’s office walls …Do it on camera , without pre determined questions ! That would be so informative and ultra revealing .

Lol they are all giddy with excitement on FF believing these pish Donald Trump FAKE NEWS and Boris Johnson LIES stories,

There are all for taking that S***E in including the new 164,000 capacity stadium as well Delboy Bisgrove could sell snow to the Eskimos.

Just think that £25 million they make from the FIFA tournament will get them that new stadium from Santa.

Best one I read over the weekend was that thick Mick Gannon saying ‘ Rangers season was far from a disaster ‘

Ignominy of being the worst team in Champions League history , watched Celtic winning a world record treble , won nowt and their two best players walked out the door for nada

Aye what a f*cking great season that was

  • Scud Missile says:

Lol they should take leaf out the Tories leader Sunak’s interview from yesterday when he said ,all people have to do is hold their nerve and all will be good and turn out alright, lol aye fingers crossed.

  • Clachnacuddin and the Hoops says:

Jeez that is wild oul’ reading there but thank you Video Celts for informing me of just what’s been written out there these days…

How any Celtic supporter can pay a penny towards that deplorable rag is beyond me – surely nowadays not one hopefully does…

The street talk is that they are nearly finished in circulation figures and the end is getting nearer and nearer…

Normally one would be sorry to see ‘people’ lose their jobs and with that, their homes and cars and holidays etc – but I’m afraid if it is to happen to employees of The Scottish Mainstream Media then this Celtic supporter for one will be truly DELIGHTED, and OVERJOYED !!!

    Bring on that day !
