Brendan Rodgers has reportedly assured two Celtic fans that his return to the club is virtually completed.
Last Sunday Stephen McGowan of the Daily Mail reported that Michael Nicholson and Chris McKay had visited the Irishman at his home in Santa Ponsa to discussed taking over from Ange Postecoglou.
Since then there has been little in the way of developments other than an assumption that the deal is progressing with nothing of substance emerging about other candidates.
