  1. This is amazing news, I’m praying Celtic receive 25M. It’s a dream scenario.
Let’s look at logically with no emotion. A player we bought for 6M, sell for 25M a year later is 19M profit in a year.

So the issue is not with the transaction it is what the club does with the money. Before the club always had a few bigger signings with the majority lesser valued players, therefore only reaching a certain ceiling. This deal allows us to have more of the bigger signings, significantly lifting the standard and pulling away from local competition and guaranteeing more income and success. So it’s amazing news, fans just have to be assured our policy of putting the lions share of profit is reinvested on to the playing field.

  2. “According to The Salary Calculator £1m a year in Scotland would result in a take home of £525,328, with Al Ittihad Jota will be earning 20 times what is regarded as a top Scottish football salary.”
Really? With ALL scottish clubs (including deid wans?)
Has The Salary Calculator ever come across the LIQUIDATED Rangers FC?
I’m sure they went bust trying to pay a lot more of their agreed salary in cash.
