Admira Wacker get their league campaign underway tonight at home to Stripfing without any Celtic presence.
Over the last week Tobi Oluwayemi, Matthew Anderson, Ben McPherson and Joey Dawson have all been linked with loan moves to the Austrian club but so far there has been no comment from either club.
A move for Dawson would be a major surprise with the striker posting on Instagram from his hospital bed in March that he won’t be back playing again until next year.

Getting a halfway house between the Lowland League and the Celtic first team would be a great development move but one that comes with a few problems.
Taking to a whole new football culture, far removed from the luxuries of Celtic will take a bit of adapting for the players, integrating with the local players will be essential.
Human nature suggests that some of the older, time served Austrian pros won’t be thrilled at a couple of young foreign imports using Admira as a career stepping stone.
If those factors can be overcome everyone can be a winner, most importantly the young Celts starting an Austrian adventure.
