Anthony Joseph has tweeted about Celtic’s interest in Mohamed Reda.
The Egyptian market is one that has escaped the attention of Celtic’s recruitment team but the Sky Sports reporter has claimed that initial contact has been made with Future FC over the midfielder.
Celtic seem to be well stocked for midfielders even allowing for the retirement of Aaron Mooy, in terms of numbers he has already been replaced in the squad by Odin Thiago Holm.
Celtic are one of a number of clubs in Europe interested in Egypt international Mohamed Reda.
It’s understood initial contact has been made & the Hoops are weighing up making an offer for the Future FC midfielder.

Midfielder Kwon Hyeok-kyu seems to be in the advanced stages of a move from Busan IPark with Reda’s profile suggesting an attacking/creative midfielder.
Brendan Rodgers is almost overwhelmed by midfielders with Callum McGregor and Reo Hatate definite picks. Matt O’Riley, Tomoki Iwata and David Turnbull pushing for involvement with James McCarthy and Ismaila likely to be for emergency use only.
Since Ange Postecoglou arrived Celtic’s recruitment has expanded to cover Japan, South Korea and Canada with the former manager opening doors to other markets that aren’t so heavily scouted by European clubs.
