The Sun is reporting that Micky Beale is trying to get rid of three first team players.

At the end of last season Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos, Scott Arfield, Malik Tillman and Allan McGregor walked away without a penny coming into the club.

Beale is expected to pay out his second transfer fee today when Cyriel Dessers joins the Revolution with more in the pipeline.

Picking up on the latest transfer news The Sun reports:

It’s also believed Ibrox chiefs are working hard to seal a deal for Jose Cifuentes. The Ecuador midfielder, 24, is out of contract at Los Angeles in December — but Beale wants him in much earlier.

Glen Kamara and Rabbi Matondo have been told they can leave, with Gers also willing to listen to offers for Ianis Hagi.

So far this summer there has barely been any interest shown in Beale’s serial losers.

In January Hagi signed onto a new contract that runs until 2026, despite the regular Galatasaray rumour it is hard to see any club paying a fee for what is little more than an underperforming surname.

Matondo was celebrated as being faster than Usain Bolt when he signed from Schalke last summer, now he is burning through £28,000 a week with a contract that runs until 2026 following his £3m move.

Despite being a regular in the Finland international side Kamara has dropped out of the picture at Ibrox, finding yourself behind John Lundstram and Ryan Jack isn’t likely to bring in big money bids.

Meanwhile Borna Barisic, Kemar Roofe and Lundstram are now in the final year of their contracts.

Lol remember the stories about Kamara being linked with Juventus he probably end up back at Dundee.

That’s a bit harsh on Dundee is it not.
Kamara is and always has been total ?

If this was Celtic the papers would be going apoplectic & not a peep from them. The same goes for Kent & Morelos leaving for zero but nothing said about Barasic, Kamala & Hagi who you couldn’t give away. That is a financial car crash for such a new club…….?

“…Cifuentes. The Ecuador midfielder, 24, is out of contract at Los Angeles in December — but Beale wants him in much earlier.”

Can only surmise that sevco expect to get him for free, but LA are holding out for some sort of nominal fee, as the player is leaving so soon anyway?

WIth these further players leaving / being made available, it will heap further pressure on Beale and his loans / signings.

The new arrivals all have to hit the ground running:
they have to suddenly – and simultaneously – re-discover the form for which they secured their home club contract in the first place.

If Beale is such a talented coach then maybe he can achieve this,
but time is not on his side.
Their crucial, first CL qualifier tie is a mere 5 weeks away.

I don’t believe Morelos has a new club yet, could he be at the rangers for next season in a major coup for Beale’s boys?

  • Jeanette Mcconnell says:

I’m fed up with your paper calling Glasgow RANGERS S losers absolutely sick n tired of it

    • TicToc says:

Ha! Ha! Ha! “your paper” FFS? Your paper, you hun, is everything in Scotia perhaps sans The Athletic.
But you have a point, Rangers FC were serial CHEATS and died in 2012 so no-one should speak ill of the dead and call them “S losers” as well.
It’s SEVCO (later to change its name to TRFCL) who are serial losers so it’s the truth you’re “fed up with” and “sick n tired of”.
But it’s still the same flies around a new shite (thanks to whoever coined that) and I just love your continuing pain, unlike your continuation MYTH.
Stay on here, and all the other Tim sites, as the Banter Years CONTINUE. (I bet you’re “fed up” and “sick n tired” of that word too as you lot DID NOT continue!
