In the absence of trophies it seems that Micky Beale’s new-starts are being treated to a look around Jimmy Bell’s Gloryhole.

That is the claim of wilf1872 on an Ibrox fans podcast as three staunch bears discuss the transfer dealings of the former QPR boss.

Mention of the gloryhole was a step too far for Robert, with a slight delay on the sound he could be seen laughing at the reverential reference from his fellow bear.

The gloryhole was a reference to a video clip of Beale rummaging around what looked like a messy warehouse full of old kit accumulated down the years.

Abdallah Sima seemed completely underwhelmed by the experience, Beale felt the need to explain that Bell was a really famous kitman who died a few years ago.

Bell was a laundry executive who died on 3 May 2022, just a few days after being on duty at Celtic Park alongside Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

Cyriel Dessers is expected to join the Revolution today with a tour of the glory-hole already scheduled.

The trophy room at Ibrox does have a fine collection of ceramics with a club museum expected to open soon at New Edmiston House.
