Yang Hyun jun believes that the stand off between Gangwon and his transfer to Celtic is close to being resolved.

Talks between the two clubs started more than a month ago, while general terms appear to have been agreed the date of the transfer has caused an impasse.

With the player and Celtic looking for an instant deal Gangwon want the move delayed until January or to go through with an immediate loan back.

Yang has spoken out about his unhappiness over the impasse but has told the Daily Record that progress is being made.

The stagnant situation is gradually being resolved. The club have reevaluated the value through CEO Kim Byung-ji during the one-on-one meeting. Still, there seems to be some progress. I think I hurt the fans too much. I want to make the fans smile and go to Celtic.

Gangwon are currently sitting in 11th place in the 12 team K-League but seem to want to hold on to a player who would clearly prefer to be elsewhere.

Since negotiations started Celtic have sold Jota and signed Marco Tilio, if another winger comes in it looks like Yang may miss out on his European move for now.
