Fans of Al Ittihad haven’t been slow to find out about their next star signing.
Since Thursday afternoon it has seemed inevitable that Jota will be swapping green and white hoops for yellow and black stripes and a £10m a year tax free salary.
Al Ittihad have already secured Karim Benzema but at the age of 24 they look like teaming the Real Madrid legend up with a special talent that likes to play with a smile on his face.

That image is from the iconic celebration that greeted the third goal in last season’s September derby, the sweetest of dinks around Jon McLaughlin to put Celtic 2-0 in front following a brilliantly delivered pass from Matt O’Riley.
In less than two seasons Celtic fans built up a real bond with Jota but the only thing that lasts forever in football is the loyalty of supporters who’ll be back for more next season regardless of the distractions.
As ever,
if you want loyalty – get a dug! 🙂
What – A female Sevco fan then Bob !!!
Jota is extremely loyal to himself and family. After ferrying my son about for 12 years who was on the verge Of EPL football then suffered an ACL fans emotions are unfortunately lower on list of priorities. Two sides, try seeing it from a different perspective.
We could end up playing in black and yellow stripes ourselves in a few years!? Just saying!
