Knives out for Beale as Ibrox dirty war opens up

The dirty war against Micky Beale has been launched with a highly detailed analysis of his summer spending.

After losing to Celtic last Sunday the under pressure Ibrox boss made a point of underplaying the cost of his Revolution! Telling the media that the transfer fees they have been reporting is miles from the truth isn’t a smart move, especially when the undisclosed fees are being leaked internally.

The bulk of Beale’s spending has been in the forward line with around £14m spent on Danilo, Sam Lammers and Cyriel Dessers, against Celtic only Dessers started with Kemar Roofe and Rabi Matondo joining the Nigerian in the forward line.

With gaping holes in the defence and no wide players that spending is being questioned with Beale putting together a badly bloated squad that is short on options with James Tavernier, Connor Goldson and Borna Barisic certain to start whenever they are fit.

When it comes to being on message the Rangers Review takes succulent lamb to new levels, hitting back at Beale Chris Jack explains:

The Brazilian, like Lammers and Dessers, had been on Beale’s radar for some time. The move for Dessers dragged on before Cremonese accepted a bid of £4.5m and his arrival on a four-year contract represented a significant outlay for Rangers.

And when the numbers increased once again, so did the expectation from supporters as they heralded their new arrival from Feyenoord.

The spend on Danilo is around £5.5million at present but it could get to the £6million barrier. Suggestions that his contract would be worth in the region of £45,000 per week were dismissed as well wide of the mark long before the striker arrived in Glasgow and was reunited with Dessers.

To date, neither the faith of the fans nor the board’s investment has been repaid and the big money moves are the ones that will ultimately make or break Beale’s career as manager at Ibrox.

Around £15m was outlaid during the window 12 months ago and the board have once again stumped up when required to fund the recruitment drive.

After losing 5-1 away to PSV Eindhoven Beale’s media answers were noticeably short, with his job on the line he will try to maintain that approach in future media conferences but as someone who loves the sound of his own voice that will be a tough job to maintain.

He will get the softest of questions from the shills of The Scottish Football Media…

But drop one single point to fall even that tiny bit further and they will turn on him big time no doubt –

I look forward to reading about how they do it on this very fine site !

Would be interesting to hear how the sevco squad of players has reacted to the Celtic loss.

The next couple of games will show whether the players display the fight and body language,

in support of Beale…or he’s lost the dressing room.

The atmosphere at Ibrox / Auchenhowie must be much more toxic than usual. 🙂

The great man that killed off oldco plus his EBT SIDELETTERS never helped him out did they he should have been jailed for his crimes but the Edinburgh high command saved him from it all.

It’s gonna get murky, murky, murrrrrkkkeeeyy !

Beale breaks rank in a panic to protect himself…

The board wheel out this Jack guy to get their very different narrative out there –

Who is this Jack guy – Sounds like he is a rabid Sevco fan that works in their PR department and is a freelance rag ‘writer’ as well…

A perfect combination from a Sevco point of view…

Long may their turmoil continue…Keep up the good work Joe…

  • Tyrone9 says:

I thought Boyd put the boot in at the final whistle on Sunday while the klan were still boo-ing.
My immediate impression was that he had been authorised to do so.

Why would Beale say they’ve not spent that much , coz even though he’s thick , he must be aware of relevant figures.

  • Captain Swing says:

Up to now he has had the easiest of rides from the mainstream media. That has already changed but they will at least keep it reasonably polite. A bigger problem for him might be the rabble of assorted muppets, lunatics and maniacs who ponied up the cash for “official media partner” status under David Graham’s calamitous PR reign. I can’t see that bunch of bangers playing nice with him…..

  • Frankie says:

Who is telling the lies him the board or the undisclosed fees.

  • Paul Mac says:

But But … he sed the ovver day dat de transfer fees quoted were way orf. So who is telling porkies abaht the fees … is it the meedja or is it Ian Beale ?

  • John S says:

I’ve serious doubts about the figures, they’re mythical, propaganda designed to heighten their status.

  • Daniel McCallion says:

I do wish they would clarify which Rangers they are referring too !!!!!!!

Awe poor Mickey has had the Mickey taken by Mickey Agents & the Mickey Scouts.
Or was it just Mickey taking the Mickey out of himself, he knew these players and didn’t need scouts.
I prefer amateurs who work 50 hours a week, do 2 nights training, then give an honest shift on the pitch.
    Mickeys millions can’t do that.

  • John Copeland says:

Do you think big Murts will be getting a text soon ?

  • Northamptontim says:

Can’t see them sacking him how can they afford to bring in new coach who will require own staff and player’s
