There were no Celtic fans inside Ibrox today but there were plenty celebrating out in the sunshine of Santa Ponca as Brendan Rodgers’ side delivered in the Glasgow Derby.

The Mallorcan holiday resort is a magnet for Celtic fans with the giant sized screen down in The Square the place to be for fans looking to enjoy the big match atmosphere in the sunshine.

A 1pm local time meant that the sun was at its strongest as Kyogo Furuhashi put the ball in the net in first half stoppage time.

It was a long second half as Celtic dropped deeper and deeper to hold on to their advantage. The homeside had most of the possession and pressure but it was the hoops that created the best of the chances but they were unable to find that second goal.

After seven minutes of stoppage time the final whistle was blown to kick off more celebrations, a rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone and overtime in The Celts Well as the staff kept up with the demand for icy cold cervezas.
