Even more dubious John Beaton penalty statistics emerge

Apparently they balance out over the course of a season- that famous line was popular before folk started to dig deep and discovered another deflection myth.

With a 64 match run without conceding a penalty in the SPFL Premiership being highlighted by Internet Bampots John Beaton decided to take the spotlight at Ibrox yesterday.

Playing an extra minute in first half stoppage time for no reason whatsoever turned out to be inspired with Toby Sibbick fouling Abdallah Sima in the penalty box, unfortunately James Tavernier failed from his favourite distance.

Undeterred Beaton conjured up another penalty in the 88th minute after some bizarre free-kicks went in favour of the home side, this time the Ibrox captain converted.

With those two clubs way out in front of the rest over a six year period their penalty records should be fairly similar, winning five titles in that spell Celtic should just edge it. Not in the eyes of Beaton.

Typical of his decision making was the Glasgow Derby on January 2. When Fashion Sakala ran into Carl Starfelt the man in black pointed to the penalty spot.

When Conor Goldson used both hands to bat away a shot from Starfelt Beaton opted to play on with both decisions backed up by his buddy from the Lanarkshire Refereeing Association, Willie Collum.

Lint is very accurate with his stats, just like he is when he puts together video clips comparing refereeing decisions.

Make the referees officiate with flags instead of whistles,

…and then, our spineless Board might make a complaint ?

    🙂

If I remember Ange said nothing – or very little…

If I remember Nicholson said nothing – At all…

If I remember Lawwell said nothing – The Square root of Fcuk All…

The Bhoys of The Old Brigade – Definately Not…

The Bhoys at The Back of The Bus – Fcukin most Definitely…

Roll over now and get your (yellow) bellies tickled !

In my opinion the whole game in Scotland, from governing bodies to match officials to decision making is as bent as one of those old Arabian daggers ……ken wot I mean ?

Scotland would be a better place without the bigoted anti-Catholic Huns!

  • Seppington says:

Freemasonry within Scottish society is far more pernicious than just the SFA and Ayebrokes….can’t harm the interests of a fellow brother don’t you know…? Why else wouldn’t you say something about the absolute blatant cheating that, in front of the whole feckin’ world, is assisting a rival at the cost of financial damage to your business, i.e. cheated out of the cup = less prize money, just so the ego of those bastards can be fluffed?

The strict adherence of the staunch and the fear of those knuckle-draggers therein….only things that makes sense…..

    • Clachnacuddin and the Hoops says:

I wonder how many of our board are in The Freemasons…

I wonder if a shareholder asked the question would he / she get an answer (she probably wouldn’t) –

Or would the questioner be told that it’s a secret !

Editor: I’d think that the question would be are there any that aren’t.

      • Seppington says:

Lawwell would tut and hand-wave it away like the douche he is…

      • the maister says:

You can’t be in the Freemasons and be a Catholic!
Lawwell went to a Catholic school!
        The
        “Game”
in Scotland is corrupt. That is absolutely certain!
And the people who run the game in Scotland, all know it!
        They’re all in it together.
Keep the money rolling in and who cares what goes on on the football side?
It is just another corrupt industry, tolerated because it generates money.

  • Tam says:

I’ve said this many times….if the punishment for getting it wrong (cheating) is no punishment……why……try to get it right (stop cheating)…. the head of Scottish referees Crawford Allan has come out (once)and said the referee got it wrong and guess who was benefited from the “wrong” decision CELTIC …it was tight but not “wrong” ….. I’m speculating here…. Madden tells Allan he has done everything to cheat CELTIC and you have a go at me…..f*!k this I’m off….. did the SMSM delve into this monumentus decision by a Grade one referee…no

Editor: All of the traditional ‘stakeholders’ are very happy with the status quo which keeps a competitive O** F*** to market. Clubs, media and SFA/SPFL all happy.

  • Andrew Lamb says:

This isn’t a surprise and you couldn’t burn Beaton and the SFA s neck wae a blowtorch. All the more reason not to let the cvnts get a sniff because let me tell you if it’s a genuine race with point totals similar come the last few games we have no chance. They have made it clear we are only winning if there is no doubt.

  • Mr Ian Costello says:

    V ideo

    = CORRUPT
    (SFA = VAR CHEATS)

  • the maister says:

    The Scottish
    “Game”
is corrupt. That is beyond all doubt!
The Celtic Board who will not acknowledge this are therefore a part of the problem!
Their banning of the Green Brigade from Celtic Park merely reinforces this!
They were quite complicit in the implementation of the OBA.
The OBA was thrown out of Scotland because of it’s incompatibility with the fairness of the Law. Football supporters had to fight to have this legislation repealed.
The Green Brigade have the moral high ground on this matter.
We, who oppose the Board on this matter, know who is right and we will be Celtic supporters long after this Board in dead and gone!
