Since his sacking on Sunday night only Todd Cantwell of the Ibrox squad has offered their thanks/commiserations to Micky Beale.
After looking deeply into their eyes Beale signed up nine players during the summer transfer window but none of them have taken to social media to comment on the demise of their former boss.
Last October Conor Goldson was embracing his former coach in the Ibrox Directors Box but since Sunday evening nothing has been heard from the former Shrewsbury starlet.
For a deeply insecure character like Beale it will hurt him badly although the terms of his Exit Deal should hopefully provide some comfort.
Beale has never been slow to talk up his incredible relationship with players whether it was Ianis Hagi or Malik Tillman he knew them fantastically, almost like a father and son relationship.
After his sacking Beale made one Instagram post which brought no reaction from any of his former players. It seems like Brendan Rodgers is the only person other than Cantwell that has any sympathy for the bibs and cones specialist.

We can all see through his type but no doubt The Gullibears will not even in the slightest wee bit…
I can just hear the rest about Cantwell saying – Ah well, what a Cnut !
That radio silence from the squad does suggest that Beale
had well and truly lost the dressing room,
so his accelerated departure was maybe unavoidable?
Interesting that Cantwell – arguably sevco’s best outfield player – is out of step
with the rest of his team mates though.
I was thinking that the Rae Davis DreamTeam might drop TavPen
as captain – to appease the bears – and give the armband to Cantwell?
