Neil McCann has been tipped for a place in Philippe Clement’s coaching team.

The Belgian Revolution got underway on Sunday when the former Monaco boss managed to get his demand for a three and a half year contract signed off by the Ibrox Board.

On Tuesday Clement was presented to the fawning media at the Annual Autumn Unveiling ceremony when he came spoke very well with the Four Pillars going down well with the Gullible & Deluded.

Stephan van der Heyden has claimed that he will be Clement’s assistant but the new Ibrox boss is on the look out for a coach with a feeling for the culture of the club.

That opens the door for a number of pundits on the rota with BBC Scotland at Sportscene and Sportsound with Barry Ferguson putting forward his own favourite.

Listening in to Go Radio the Daily Record reports the former Clyde boss saying:

He (Clement) understands he needs somebody who’s got the knowledge of Scottish football, who’s been to places like Tynecastle, Easter Road, Pittodrie. One that jumps out at me would be Neil McCann. I think he would be perfect for it.

Davo (Steven Davis) is still trying to get back from his serious knee injury, I don’t know how that’s going on but I think in time Davo will become a coach or a manager.

I think the club are definitely going to go down that route and I think it’s important that you have people round about the club who have been there, seen it and done it. It will be interesting to see who it’s going to be, he says he’s going to take his time which I think is the right thing to do.

Davis and Alex Rae are remaining on the coaching staff while Clement assesses what is required on and off the pitch.

McCann had 18 months in charge of Dundee which ended in October 2018, winning 22 out of 65 matches during which he sold Glen Kamara to Ibrox for £50,000.

Will certainly show him how to do tax dodges.

Wee Fergushun never got Kevin ‘Kev’ ‘Muscy’ Muscot his preferred choice as reported on the Blogs…

So hopefully he doesn’t get this one either –

    Why you might ask ?

Well apart from the biggest jump the dyke ever being in The bastion of bigotry and putting the boot into Celtic there or at least attempting to, it’d leave the door open for Kenny Miller to ‘get it’ there and I wouldn’t ever need to listen to his incoherent ramblings on Clyde Superscoreboard ever again though it’s great fun when Sevco lose or drop points…

Though sometimes he runs to the safety of the shipyards by not appearing when Celtic win The Glasgow Derby !

Neil McCann, the EBT Rangers Man!
So, he sold Glen Kamara to sevco from Dundee for £55k.
And sevco sold him four years later for more than one hundred time this amount, for £5.5M.
There’d always be a place for HIM at Ipox!

Aye , they will need someone for the new role as trophy room attendant ! Obviously it will be a part time gig because of the severe lack of silverware in the glass containers , but those pesky things have to be kept clean due to filthy fingerprints and manky paws all over them .
