For most of last week Graham Spiers was comforted by news of an operating profit in the 2023 Accounts from the Ibrox Tribute Act.

Everyone in the mainstream was in agreement, from all of the figures contained in the 30 page document the most significant was £252,000 which apparently means a second season of profit.

Not only was the Daily Record, BBC Scotland and the Glasgow Times passing on the good news but The Times had rubber stamped the significance of the operating profit.

Predictably Celtic fans were highlighting something off message like the £4.144m loss that was strangely overlooked by Greig Cameron, the Scottish Business Editor of The Times.

On Friday the true picture was analysed and highlighted by Swiss Ramble, an Internet Bampot that rarely gets involved in Scottish football but does so without needing to remain in the Ibrox news loop that other publishers cling onto.

Spiers and Roger Mitchell have acknowledged the figures, breakdown and analysis from Swiss Ramble, fortunately it seems that none of the mainstream publishers will go beyond the operating profit.

In just under six weeks the transfer window opens, at that stage loyal bears might discover the reality of the operating profit that they have been fed.

    Strangely overlooked by Grieg Cameron…

With a name like quelle surprise – NOT !

As for Spiers – He has certainly bucked the media Sevco love in and did when The Late Rangers (deceased c.2012) were alive as well –

Well according to Celtic blogs anyway – and that’ll do truthfully for me !

Thats nothing new in the Scottish media covering it up and writing lies about the biggest cheats in Scottish football oldco and now newco are doing the same thing cause they know themselves that the media will stay silent on the liebrox cheats and of course we know hampden sfa.spfl will do it aswell as they already have in 2012 so it.looks as if newco is insolvency and have been its the loans thats keeping the lights on at liebrox i dont understand why theirs no investigation at liebrox right now honest Scottish football is embarrassing and the people who run it are corrupt for one club only im gutted about my own club celtic fc 1888 who have done nothing and said nothing thats how bad the spfl is run you cant even trust ur own club to tell the truth all because of money and the old firm name which is dead as we all know 2012 bye bye cheats of scotland oldco and now newco…

Personally I prefer the words ‘old club’ and ‘new club’ as opposed to what you call them ‘old co’ and ‘new co’ –

The latter gives more prominence to the victim lie – The former gives more credence to the truth that it was the old CLUB that died and the new CLUB is second in the League !

It’s nice to know that there are still ultra compliant sport scoops out there working for national newspapers who downplay the fact that the Rangers mark 1 was liquidated ,out of existence back in 2012 . Take Billy Leckie for example in today’s Sun … Scottish version .He describes the Rangers corruption and illegal practices back then as ego , arrogance and flyness . On a cold November morning ,it just warms the blood to know that the SMSM always will have a certain clumpany’s back ….in all kinds of weather ! Looks like rain …….

Our club is as guilty as they are. Five way agreement anyone!!

    • Magua says:

Hardly a surprise, Brian…given that some of the PLC board, are members of a certain ‘Brotherhood.’ These clowns should be nowhere near Celtic, give that in Scotland, the Masonic Order and the Orange Order are basically one and the same.

      Hail Hail.
