Kyogo Furuhashi seems to be fit and available for Saturday’s home match against Motherwell.

The striker suffered a sickening head knock at home to Aberdeen on November 12 that required an immediate substitution and a withdrawal from the Japan international squad.

Other than the immediate post match interviews nothing has been heard of Kyogo’s injury, no blood was drawn but he did suffer a significant head knock and looked groggy as he left the pitch.

After today’s AGM Rodgers moved in to his round of media conferences ahead of Saturday’s match against Motherwell.

After explaining how Luis Palma and Alistair Johnston won’t be back training till Friday Rodgers rounded up on the injury situation.

The other guys have come back fine, the guys that played domestically, for Scotland are fine and the others fine so nothing injury wise in this moment in time to report.

Oh Hyeon-gyu came off the bench to score twice against Aberdeen and recently started the SPFL match at Ross County, his first start under Rodgers.

Without doubt Kyogo is the first choice striker and essential as Celtic prepare for a hectic spell of fixtures that concludes with the winter break fixture away to St Mirren on January 2.

Editor: The article below is a decent summary, Mick & Pete the jokers.

Usual contempt for the pesky peasants that have aspirations above being one point ahead of Celtic’s O** F*** business partners.

Brendan standing very close to Mark project Lawwell, that was worrying, if there is no experience or quality in January it is partly on the manager for his blind faith in the former CEO’s boy with no pedigree or ability.

Thank you Joe…Not exactly what I would have hoped for…but what I expected….I wonder if we’ll see another ” Sack the Board ” campaign. amnytime soon….Who am I kidding ??….

Editor: Sadly most Celtic fans and shareholders are out of their faces with delight as they text their Sevco buddies after domestic results, secure in the knowledge that big Peter is looking after their interests. No amount of European humiliations are likely to halt that.
