Rangers Tax Case has highlighted the compliant media outlets that have blindly reported a profit of £252,000 from the Ibrox Tribute Act for the year until 30 June 2023.

The period that covers the sales of Joe Aribo and Calvin Bassey alongside a first ever appearance in the group stage of the Champions League.

Digging below the froth RTC reports a loss of £11.9m for the year. With a summer transfer deficit of £13.1m so far this year it will require a run towards the Europa League final to keep losses for the current year to under £20m.

With no overdraft facility available the gap is being made up by secured loans from directors, as long as that continues all is hunky dory for the Tribute Act.

Dave King and Douglas Park have both decided to cut their ties over the last few years, if the current lenders of last resort decide on the same course of action there could be trouble ahead.

While sports hacks drool over selection dilemmas the strain on the wage bill is getting unbearable.

Kemar Roofe, John Lundstram and Todd Cantwell are believed to be earning over £40,000 a week, with those figures known in agency circles Ben Davies, Rabbi Matondo, Sam Lammers, Cyriel Dessers, Danilo and Ridvan Yilmaz won’t be on less than half that figure.

Free agents Tom Lawrence, John Soutter, Jack Butland, Kieran Dowell and Dujon Sterling were in strong negotiating positions when they moved to Ibrox.

Those expecting a January war-chest for ‘a Proper Manager’ may be in for a shock but a doze of expectation management should keep them in check.

Does that include the bayern sell on clause o that Diddy they had on loan.,,:-))))

    More misery on the way…??
    Certainly hope so.

  • John Copeland says:

Their CFO ,James Taylor looks rough ! It’s as if he’s been up all night preparing for his contrived interview ….. Should stick to the songwriting old stick ! There is more profits to be made than the football .

  • Clachnacuddin and the Hoops says:

They might bring next year’s astronomical losses down by selling the goalkeeper for a decent wedge but The Guillibears would go truly bananas about that one…

Probably they’ll beg The DUP billions gift from The Tories to slip a few millions their way with creative accountancy…

Which will ‘suit’ The Tory suits on our board as Tories will be keeping Sevco relevent to The (in their minds – not mine) O#d Fi#m model !

  • Scud Missile says:

Lol I see the online daily sevco today have an article on a supercomputer predicting Celtic will be champions again this season, apparently Celtic only have a 5 point cushion over sevco, funny that because the league table I’m looking at shows us with an 8 point lead.
Looks like the game in hand sevco have is a gimmie for 3 points for them then,no doubt 2 or 3 penalties will see to that.

  • Clachnacuddin and the Hoops says:

See that headline picture of all The Scottish Media (Being truthful for once) and reporting the actual DEATH of Rangers (as they were until then)…

It’s worth doing a screen shot of it and also the individual papers if you can get them (probably now removed) and crop them to pocket size and if your in a mixed area with reasonable Sevco fans then flip it out your pockets at them when they say the same club lie…

Their sudden silence is a joy to behold –

They truly are so Gullible and so very easy to beat and take up the pure piss out of !

  • Frankie says:

That lot are depending on winning the league this season for the ucl money and they will get all the help from every cheating ref ,var, spfl, sfa and our so called board should be doing something about it this time and back Brendan to the hilt and not let it go like the Covid season.

It’s a big ask to expect the same media who reported their death in 2012 and now deny it

to start telling the truth about their finances now

  • KevJungle says:

We need to be aware that when the Ibrox club is in financial trouble it seems to be on cue that Celtic will fall off of our stool to help them out!

The 2009, 2010, 2011, seasons spring to mind as being inexplicable that Celtic would literally collapse at the same time to help the Ibrox club out of trouble, and the board would remain silent during 3 years of `honest mistakes` which all favoured the same club.

John Reid was wheeled out to tell us that he had a “Dossier” compilation of all of these mistakes, but JR was soon to leave and his “Dossier” left with him without ever seeing the light of day….very strange!

Walter Smith “won” 3 titles in a row but couldn`t prevent the Ibrox club from being liquidated and having to form a new club.

Well, I see it this way…the Ibrox club were out of Celtic`s league for almost 5 years before gaining promotion in 2016.

Now remember that the narrative amongst lots of Celtic fans on cyberspace in 2016 was “What will the Celtic PLC call the Ibrox club when we meet them?”

Well the PLC pulled a major rabbit out of the hat and changed the narrative utterly, by recruiting Brendan as manager.

All of a sudden…..”What will we call the Ibrox club when we meet them?”…was no longer the narrative…nobody cared…the PLC had won…the O** F*** game was back and the PLC were off of the hook and the “What do we call the Ibrox club?”….WAS NO LONGER A QUESTION!!!

Just like that the PLC had a golden opportunity to play their biggest ever wild card, joker, call it what you will…and the PLC put old Rangers £49 price onto the New Ibroc club match tickets!!!

“The Game….The Game Is Over…The O** F*** loving PLC Have Won!”

For SEVEN YEARS I have been trying to highlight how Celtic fans were utterly mugged in 2016 by the PLC`s sleekit £49 ticket trick same price in 2012 and retained in 2016 and nobody even knows about it…buried under the welcome party`s to greet new boss Brendan Rodgers…he`s not a rabbit he`s a Golden PLC Squirrel…”used”….to bury the dark arts that our PLC engaged in to get David Murray`s crooked board off of the hook and give off the pretence that the O** F*** is a thing…all facilitated by Celtic fans…drunk on the arrival of Brendan in 2016…each time that I posted about this cheating through ticket compliance the compliant PLC blog`s CQN and Sentinel Celts would immediately delete my posted attempts at whistle blowing this skullduggery.

No rule book will ever be applied to the Ibrox club…especially when we have Celtic supporters running blogs and deleting any whistle blowing of this scandal.

Ibrox could be £500 million in debt and the response will always be “Move along Timmy nothing to see here”…and our PLC will be their usual silent compliant self preservation society!

The PLC need to be starved out and a number of fans with integrity like, Joe McHugh, need to be amongst the leading voices to lead fans into financial battle with this O** F*** PLC Duplicity act they need to be removed on season ticket renewal day!

Unfortunately KevJungle when Rangers died (deceased c.2012) plenty Celtic fans stopped going to Parkhead…

I know as I was at plenty games after that with The Upper Lisbon Lions stand empty and covered in banners –

Despite the quieter atmosphere I was just happy that Rangers had died (c.2012)…

It was strange that the attendances were so reduced –

But thems the way things were then though !
