Cameron Carter-Vickers was back in training at Lennoxtown today after missing Wednesday’s match against St Mirren.
The defender played in four successive matches before dropping out in midweek with Nat Phillips stepping in to partner Liam Scales.
After undergoing knee surgery at the end of April Carter-Vickers suffered a hamstring injury in the second SPFL match of the season which resulted in a further spell on the sidelines.
Asked about his absence from the St Mirren match Brendan Rodgers referenced the knee injury, explaining that it was always the plan to leave the American internationalist out after he had played three matches in seven days.

It is only a picture but Carter-Vickers looked to be fully involved in training this morning ahead of the afternoon journey north to Dingwall.
That match is followed quickly by a Champions League tie away to Atletico Madrid which is about as big a contrast as is possible from facing Ross County.
