Tumbleweed- Raging ‘Serge’ silences SSB with his wacky postponement banter

Serge had the stage to himself last night on Super Scoreboard but his banter went down as well as the arrival of Sam Lammers on an Ibrox team-sheet.

There aren’t many bears called Serge in Bridgeton or Larkhall but that name was probably a little in-joke with his WhatsApp mates.

At this time of year SSB can be even more light hearted than usual, some callers are genuinely funny but it comes natural as they raise a point and capitalise on their own stupidity. But not ‘Serge’.

Perhaps too much time spent on message-boards and mince pies had had an impact but he started off with the penalty spot joke and after that things went downhill rapidly.

See to be fair, this roaster deserves all the slagging in the world.

‘Serge’ is just another paranoid bear, convinced that the football authorities have it in for the club that thought a year ago it would be a great idea to appoint Micky Beale as their manager, a classic case of self destruction.

It promises to be another couple of days of tortured paranoia on SSB with the subject of a 73 match run without conceding a penalty avoided at all costs, or five minutes in the company of wacky Serge.
