Kyogo Furuhashi came up with his seventh Derby goal of 2023 to give Celtic a vital win in the SPFL.
It was a magnificent goal from the Japanese striker as he turned the Ibrox defenders then sent a brilliant 20 yard shot curling past Jack Butland.
That strike, in the 46th minute of the match gave Celtic some breathing space after Paulo Bernardo had opened the scoring with his second goal of the week.

Celtic should have been home and dry when Leon Balogun was sent off in the 71st minute for hauling back Daizen Maeda.
A triple change from Brendan Rodgers, replacing his entire forward line in the 83rd minute almost back fired as the hoops fell back further with James Tavernier curling in a free kick in the 88th minute.
Nick Walsh played on until beyond the 100th minute but at the final whistle Celtic took full points to go eight points clear at the top of the Premiership table going into the new year.
