Andrew Dallas covered up another shocking performance on VAR duty by awarding Kilmarnock a penalty at Ibrox with the home team already leading.

It was the first time in 75 SPFL matches that the 2012 Tribute Act have had a penalty awarded against then, a run that covers 23 months, three Ibrox managers, three UK Prime Ministers and a change in UK monarch.

Before the 59th minute penalty Dallas Mini lived up to his reputation which peaked in 2019 when he awarded four penalties in one match that left even Steven Gerrard bemused as his side crushed St Mirren.

With the match goal-less John Souttar almost pulled the shirt off Danny Armstrong, John Beaton looked the other way while Dallas, one of two full time VAR officials blinked and allowed play to continue.

The same process was in operation just before half-time when Abdallah Sima flicked the ball over his head with his upper arm then turned to volley into the net. The Kilmarnock defender looked dazzled at how the movement had been carried out.

The 74 match run has now ended, leaving the Tribute Act on the same mark as peak- Barcelona, with the social media attention firmly on that run the pressure is now off Dallas, Beaton and their refereeing brotherhood as they set off on another extensive run of honest mistakes.

I would feel hard done by, if that penalty was given against Celtic as his arm is in front of his body, a natural position , and they will think that all the other non penalties are ok now, that’s a no. As I pointed out earlier, old man Keevins said that, that puts another conspiracy theory to bed ,again, no it doesn’t, there’s no fool like an old fool , and he is living proof.

The HURT in auld Spews voice from Celtic beating sevco is such a joy,he sounds like he has been crying into pull-up pants since that defeat.

  • Pedro71 says:

Funny how sima used his arm to direct the ball into a goal, or the ball decides to change direction that not any sophisticated qualifications knowing human being could tel why. Or he used his arm. Sky again never even knew.

  • Scud Missile says:

Oh dear a 16 year old getting to the final of the world darts and the newspapers are all giddy with excitement because he follows sevco, maybe he will end up a loser just like his team and BOTTLE IT.

The members of The Scottish Referees’ Association are not exactly the brightest.

Everybody and their dug witnessed the incredible run of 74 league games

without a penalty against sevco – over a prolonged period.

Everybody [outside of sevco] was commenting on this obvious

‘statistically significant standard deviation’ – aka cheating.

In addition, what were the odds that this incredible sevco run would end

IN THE VERY GAME which would have taken sevco past Barca’s World Record

‘non-penalty run’, [for which they are belatedly being investigated about]?

The end of the sevco run looks even dodgier than the run itself!

For the hard of thinking referees:

“A significant standard deviation means that there is a 95% chance

that the difference is due to discrimination.”

Ironic that this textbook definition includes the word ‘discrimination’.

Now would be the ideal time for our club to complain – publicly – to the SFA.

A complaint might not have an end result,

but it would put the refs & stats under heightened scrutiny through to season end?

Bobby Madden (brother Bobby ) is calling out for transparency from VAR ! But not too much . In other words …opaque transparency ! As clear as Guinness …..

  • Charlie Green says:

The penalty was engineered by Sevco to avoid being the “record holders”.

  • bertie basset says:

bent beaton and son of dulass did their duty awarding the worthless penalty to prevent it becoming 2 years since their last spotter being awarded against the cheats , the next game would have passed the 18 th of january , what blatant match fixing

  • Pan says:

He might make cutting replies when surrounded by his own, but he too much of a coward to tackle the issues directly.
