John Lundstram is still waiting on an acceptable contract offer to extend his Ibrox love affair.

The scary Scouser signed a lucrative three year deal in the summer of 2021 and is now free to agree a pre-contract deal elsewhere.

Other than a return to Sheffield United with Chris Wilder there hasn’t been a sniff of interest in the midfielder with a salary drop inevitable wherever he moves to.

Now working with his fourth gaffer at Ibrox big Lunny is loving life under Philippe Clement but has still to be offered the right terms to extend his stay at Ibrox as he told The Sun:

I’ve never shied away from saying how much I love the club and how much I’d love to stay but it’s obviously between me and the club to sort something out.

I hope that’s in the pipeline, of course but that’s between me and the club to sort out. But I would love to stay.

Borna Barisic, Ryan Jack, Kemar Roofe, Leon Balogun and Jon McLaughlin are all out on contract at the end of this season.

Last summer Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Scott Arfield and Filip Helander all left the Ibrox Tribute Act as free agents.

Walk on through the rain, John, I suspect that contract offer ain’t coming!

Give ‘Slippy’ a bell and see if he can get you a nice ‘Bunsen’ over in Saudi Arabia – although you better be quick because he’ll be getting his jotters soon…..

He’s just advertising his availability by speaking to The Sun.

If he didn’t get an offer in the summer – from sevco or any other club – then he will

see out his Ibrox contract like Morelos.

The dilemma for sevco though, is how do they replace any regular

starter without any available transfer funds?

You can only go so far with loanees… 🙂

Why would anyone who wasn’t brought up to it ” love the club “?

Apart from being a basket case with a fascist fan base, it isn’t even very good at football.

Indeed why would any sensible reasonable person support it, even one who was brought up in its trrrrrrrrrraditions of bigotry and cheating?

And that is the difference between them and us. I would stop supporting Celtic immediately if the club started behaving like that.

They on the other hand only care about winning by any means and cheating is well to the fore from the players to the management, board ,fan base and the officialdom which enables it.

For us, if it isn’t won fairly, it isn’t worth winning at all. For them, such considerations have never applied. Indeed they appear quite happy to revel in the corruption.

I don’t know why they don’t just go along to the nearest trophy shop and buy some.

After all, it amounts to the same thing.

Quite a lot of them openly brag about it as well…

No shame, no honesty, no morals, no ‘Rangers’ either –

But still even with Sevco they openly brag about it all…

And they’ll be no shame, no honesty, no morals when there’s no Sevco either –

Though Celtic are trying their very best to keep Sevco alive !
