The show was back on the road at Easter Road as the visiting team escaped what appeared to be a very strong penalty claim for handball by Leon Balogun.
With a header going back across goal the Ibrox defender raised his left arm to prevent the ball passing him then hoofed it away from danger.
It wasn’t the most obvious of claims but in the VAR age fans of almost all clubs have seen them given against their side.

With the match goal-less at the time it was a big decision to be made by the officials.
There was the usual contact between the Hibs forward and Ridvan Yilmaz which provided Andrew Dallas, on VAR duty for the second successive SPFL match involving Philippe Clement’s side with an easy escape.
Having given four penalties against St Mirren during a visit to Ibrox in February 2019 Dallas showed more restraint this time around.
After a 15 second pause for a so-called VAR review he explained his decision to Steven McLean whose brother started his playing career as a Murray Park starlet. Play restarted with a free kick to the visitors with Hibs going on to win 3-0.
David Dickinson will be in charge on Saturday when Clement takes his side to Paisley to face St Mirren.
No action towards the ball, hands by the side, never a penalty in a month of Sundays.

Scud, early morning drinking doesn’t suit you pal….
HH
I watched a bit of that last night and Balogun’s arm moves enough towards the ball to ‘play’ the ball and THAT is a penalty. That aside, I was hoping for more from Hibs, they were pretty poor for what I watched.
I noticed that pint sized presenter J Sutherland on the Scots BBC highlights show was in a proper celebratory mood last night …for whatever reason – take your pick ? This wee bundle of joy is normally morose In appearance , especially when Celtic chalk up another win whilst he is on camera . Maybe he had a few quid on St Johnstone/ Aberdeen for a draw on his midweek coupon ,hence the frivolity and happiness ?
