Brendan Rodgers has made just two changes to the Celtic side that beat St Mirren 19 days ago for today’s Scottish Cup tie at home to Buckie Thistle.

Callum McGregor is replaced in the centre of the park by Odin Thiago Holm while Liel Abada replaces Daizen Maeda who is on international duty at the Asian Cup.

On the bench transfer linked Rocco Vata comes in from the cold and is joined by midfielder Daniel Kelly who has impressed in the UEFA Youth League and EPL International Cup.

Celtic lifted the trophy at Hampden in June against another Highland club, Inverness Caley Thistle with Rodgers looking to maintain his 100% record in the competition.

Today’s match is the only Scottish Cup tie with VAR in use, Chris Graham will referee the match, he has been in charge of five SPFL matches this season but today is his first involving Celtic. Steven McLean is in the VAR studio.

SUBS: Bain, Lagerbielke, Turnbull, Bernabei, Vata, Kelly, Ralston, Welsh, M Johnston
