Ten days into the January Transfer Window and there appears to be no imminent arrivals at Celtic Park.

After assessing the squad last June Brendan Rodgers told Mark Lawwell that he needed four quality additions to the squad.

Aaron Mooy then announced his retirement, Celtic sold Jota and Carl Starfelt despite both players being on long term contracts and having the guarantee of Champions League football in the season ahead.

Incoming, Lawwell Mini presented the returning manager with seven projects, Rodgers has got a tune out of Luis Palma but the Honduran wouldn’t have seen much game time last season.

The reason that Rodgers is back is because he left. Only a complete idiot wouldn’t conclude that Celtic’s January 2019 Transfer Business played a big factor in seeking out the move to Leicester, three weeks after the window closed.

Manny Perez and Andrew Gutman can be added to that list.

Losing to AEK Athens in a Champions League qualifier should have set off alarm bells throughout Celtic that after winning the SPFL title getting through two qualifiers has to be the complete focus.

Instead Peter Lawwell was losing out again to Rod Petrie, this time over John McGinn.

None of Lawwell’s January 2019 signings were involved in the Champions League exit to Cluj.

After hitting the jackpot by selling Kieran Tierney Lawwell brought in Boli Bolingoli and Chris Jullien, neither started at home to the Romanian champions with Neil Lennon deciding to play Callum McGregor at left back.

I saw my first game at Celtic Park in 1957…Since then I’ve witnessed our Club’s approach to signing new players over the years…and on the odd occasion they’ve got it right…Mainy, however, they haven’t and this one’s no different…I can’t be arsed bothering about it any more…They’ll do their usual cheap skate thing again.

The look on that fat slug Lawwells face in the top picture says it all. He won’t be second best to any manager at Celtic. He’s going about his business making sure Rodgers leaves again. How else could you explain the utter shambles of a summer transfer window instigated by him and his useless boy, and the zero business done so far in this window.

He really is the biggest Judas in the history of Celtic football club.

Your site has become unreadable due to the Advertising pop up which, even when you press reject it still comes up twice every story! The same was happening on the Celtic blog but James had it fixed within days. I really like your blog but I will have to forego it due to this incredibly annoying pop up.

      Hiya Whoriskey…

I’m not very technologically minded but a fellow Celtic fan gave me this tip for ma iPad and I’ve not looked back…

      1) Got to settings and select safari…

      2) On right hand side scroll down to advance at bottom and click on…

      3) On right side a few you will see an option called JavaScript it’ll likely be green…

      4) Turn it off…

      5) Go back to bar to write stuff in at top and write in Video Celts and you should be able to click on to any subject or previous subject as quick as a flash…

      6) You can still post no problem at all…

      7) You will need to repeat the first few steps and turn JavaScript back on to see green again to access your other sites although most Celtic sites work fast as hell with JavaScript off but you’ll need it on for other websites…

      8) Try this and let me know how ya get on !

      Slainte Math,

      Fae Clachnacuddin and the Hoops…
