Adam Idah’s stoppage time penalty at Easter Road was greeted by a mixture of joy and relief among the way fans behind David Marshall’s goal.
For the second time in the match the on loan Norwich striker found himself on penalty duty, once again he had to undergo a lengthy wait before he got to place the ball on the spot before stepping up.
Thankfully Idah completed the job for to put Celtic back in front to deliver a result that put the hoops clear at the top of the SPFL Premiership but did little to ease the concerns of the supporters.
That issue was on the back burner as the goalscorer was mobbed by team-mates to celebrate his goal with six minutes of stoppage time that ran to seven to be endured.

After Luis Palma’s double failure from the penalty spot against Ross County the nerves among supporters was justifiable when Nick Walsh awarded another after a VAR consultation.
Idah kept his composure, prepared himself fully then stepped up to score in the most pressurised of circumstances.
On Sunday attention turns to the Scottish Cup and a trip to St Mirren with the comfort that there may be a reliable penalty taker in the Celtic squad.
