David Friel of The Sun has confirmed that Liel Abada’s agent will meet with Celtic this week to discuss a move away from Celtic.

It seems that the player and his representative are looking for a temporary move to the MLS which would allow them to review European options when the summer window opens up.

With a very obvious problem that seems unlikely to be resolved in a few months the suggestion from Celtic seems to be that if the winger moves out it is on a permanent basis.

Writing in The Sun, Friel reports:

CELTIC will speak to Liel Abada’s agent this week in a bid to resolve his future.

SunSport understands discussions will take place in the coming days as MLS clubs hover.

Abada, 22, has missed Celtic’s last two games after telling Brendan Rodgers he is not in the right frame of mind to play,

The Israeli has come under pressure from his homeland over the pro Palestine stance of sections of the Celtic support.

Abada is keen to move on after becoming increasingly unsettled – with a move to the MLS most likely now that other windows have shut.

Several US clubs are tracking him and while Rodgers suggested a loan may be possible, any move is likely to be permanent.

Friel has strong sources inside Celtic, in February 2021 he exclusively reported on Neil Lennon‘s resignation and John Kennedy’s caretaker role 10 hours before the Stock Market announcement.

Missing out on two matches after his brief performance away to Hibs has compounded the issues around Abada who has made six appearances since returning from injury at the end of November.

Abada is offski we all know that now he has downed tools,do you think he wants to play for a team who’s supporters are flying the flag of a regime that his country is at war with.

He is an utter charlatan, wage thief and total unprofessional gutless snowflake and human being…

I didn’t like paying tax to a country (UK) while it’s occupying crown forces were wrecking havoc on a neighbouring country that I love – Ireland – but I still had it taken off me until I got the sack 27 years ago !

Having said that, I haven’t paid it since thankfully…

Abada will be happy to pay tax to The Brits as they’re all for Israel are these Butchers Apron loving political parties like The Labour and The Tories !

Get him out and make it permanent he obviously doesn’t want to play for Celtic, this Gaza/Israel issue is him and his agent working his ticket. If he goes to MLS is the carnage in Gaza going to stop ,of course it isn’t,so how come he can play in USA but not here, get rid and get transfer money recouped, hell mend him.
